親愛的家長:

歡迎貴子弟來到托倫斯中文學校就讀，並感謝您對學校的支持與愛護。在全球化的時代中多一種語文能力和文化了解是將來發展的利器。本校扮演著中華文化薪傳和華語傳授的橋樑，同時也是南灣地區社團之一。我們將以「伙伴」關係和您一起教育貴子弟，並且服務社區。希望您能合作以下事項﹕

1.      請閱讀每週學校簡訊及其他學校通知。

2.      請督促貴子弟完成家庭作業並溫習所學之課業。

3.      請務必參與教師家長座談會並盡量參加學校的活動，和老師保持良好的溝通和互動。

4.      請鼓勵貴子弟多參與學校及聯合會所舉辦的各項比賽。

本校是一互助組織，由熱心的老師和家長義工組成，人力物力有限，「知易行難」往往是我們的處境。希望家長多能以實際行動幫助學校運作。

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Torrance Chinese School and thank you for your support.   Learning an additional international language and culture will be an advantage to your child during this Globalization Era.   TCS has played the important role of passing Chinese heritage to our youngsters, as well as teaching them the Chinese language.    In addition, TCS has been an active member in the South Bay community.  Let’s work together as partners to accomplish our goals and missions.   We need your cooperation on the following:

1.       Pay attention to the weekly newsletter as well as notices from TCS.

2.       Ensure your child completes all the homework and reviews all material from the class.

3.       Openly communicate with the teacher and attend the Parent-Teacher Conferences.

4.       Encourage your child to attend all events organized by TCS and SCCCS.

TCS is a co-op organization. Our success depends on many enthusiastic teachers and volunteer parents. With the limited material and manpower that we have, your involvement and help would make TCS a better school for your child.  I invite you to get involved in TCS operations.

校規及學生行為準則(Rules and Regulations)

家長請協助校方共同教育子女，除非執行家長服務，或得到任課教師特別許可，請家長不要留在教室內。詳讀並向學生仔細解釋以下各條例規章。如有問題請向校務人員提出。

在教室內

·  絕對服從老師教導，若任課老師指派座位，則應按指派 座位就座。

·  原教室老師及學生書桌內之物品，不可亂動或使用。

·  上課時不可任意走動，吵鬧或騷擾其他同學。

·  對老師應有禮貌，有問時應先舉手。

·  上課時離開座位或教室，應得老師准許。

·  教室內嚴禁食物及飲料。

·  教室內保持清潔，離開教室前，請將桌椅恢復原狀。

·  任何人故意損壞教室物品，其家長或監護人應負責陪償。

·  學生若於 9：10AM 後到校，必須先到訓導處登記， 領取許可証才可進入教室。

在校區內

·  應服從校務人員以及糾察家長之督導。

·  嚴禁攜帶武器，毒品，危險玩具及物品到學校。

·  不得有危險舉動以危及自身和他人之安全。

·  若需提早離校，家長應得老師同意。

·  第三節課不得在校區內任意遊蕩。

·  任何緊急事故應立即報告老師或校務人員。
