Learning Chinese in America is no longer just an after-school activity - it is increasingly an officially recognized part of the high school curriculum. Although most staff and I are not experts in the educational field, we commit to serving Torrance Chinese School to our best capacity and availability.  As principal, I pledge to serve our school with all of my management experience in planning and execution, including setting the scope of work, assigning resources, prioritizing tasks, and controlling budget and risk.

The entire staff and I are looking forward to working with all parents, students, teachers and the community in furthering our educational mission. Your recognition of our contributions, and your patient understanding as we work to correct our shortcomings, are the keys to sustaining our all-volunteer staff.
Last but not least, we invite you to join us in this mission.  Your active involvement in school activities will directly benefit your own children while setting them a great example of positive participation.  We appreciate that your time is limited; as you decide how to spend it, please remember that your children are waiting and watching the demonstration by your actions, the value you place on their future.
